ELICIT 2018 brings to you MUJHacks, a 24 Hour Student Hackathon where participants have to build prototype or deploy applications on a specific theme. Collaborating in a high-stakes environment, participates learn how to work effectively on a team of 1-4 members.
The event will have various mini events as well like quizzes, some gaming contests etc. to keep the participants engaged throughout the event. The hackathon is open for all ages, experiences & skills, and we take care of stay and food so that participates can focus on the most important part of the event – Innovation, and work on that innovation to come up with great solution of a real problem.

  1. 1. Filler events will be going on throughout the hackathon and participants can choose to take part in them
  2. 1 week prior, there should be a session in which who all are not familiar with hackathon, will get the gist of it.
  3. 2 Hours prior we will send mail to participates about the theme, problem statements and rules and regulations.

Rules:

  1. Teams would be provided with the theme of the hackathon 2 hours prior to the hackathon.
  2. All team members should be present at the event. Leaving the venue for some time to hack elsewhere is fine.
  3. All team members should be present at the venue during all the submissions.
  4. Teams can of course gain advice and support from organizers, volunteers, sponsors, and others.
  5. All work on a project should be done at the hackathon.
  6. Teams can use an idea they had before the event.
  7. Different teams are allowed to work on a common idea. They won’t be disqualified for the same.
  8. Teams can use libraries, frameworks, or open-source code in their projects. Working on a project before the event and open-sourcing it for the sole purpose of using the code during the event is against the spirit of the rules and is not allowed.
  9. Adding new features to existing projects is allowed. Judges will only consider new functionality introduced or new features added during the hackathon in determining the winners.
